Petals and Poise
This project was inspired by the timeless charm of nature and the growing trend of sustainable fashion. I designed a delicate floral hair crown crafted from dried flowers and leaves, celebrating natural beauty and eco-conscious design. The goal was to create an accessory that embodies elegance and sustainability while resonating with contemporary fashion trends.
Creating Design Boards
The creative process began with research and ideation, exploring the symbolic meanings of flowers and their visual appeal in various settings. A mood board was created to define the design’s aesthetic—romantic, natural, and timeless. This was followed by a concept board, showcasing inspirational images, color palettes, and textures to guide the design.
Once the concept was solidified, I crafted a final sketch that detailed the crown’s arrangement.

The final product was meticulously crafted using dried flowers and leaves, chosen for their durability and visual appeal, arranged to create a natural yet polished aesthetic.
This project reflects my passion for blending artistic expression with sustainability, resulting in an accessory that is not only stylish but also mindful of the environment. The Petals and Poise hair crown is a celebration of nature, craft, and contemporary fashion sensibilities.
